MVAS

The Parish Council has installed a Mobile Vehicle Activated Sign (MVAS) to reduce speeding in the village. 

This sign proactively deters speeding by recording the speeds of vehicles and giving warnings to those that are speeding. The MVAS will be moved between different locations in the village to curb speeding and collect data which can be used in traffic planning and enforcement consideration. The data collected shall be uploaded to this page after presentation to the nearest Council meeting.

UPDATE (19/07/2023) : A solar panel has been purchased by the Parish Council to power the MVAS in an environmentally-conscious way.
